Meet Min Khoo: Founder and Principal Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
A Clinical Partner for Every Life Stage
With over two decades of clinical experience and advanced post-graduate training from the University of Melbourne, Min Khoo (AHPRA Reg: PHY0000977177) founded Monty Pelvic Physio to bridge the gap between complex pelvic symptoms and evidence-based solutions. Crucially, Monty Pelvic Physio serves as a “first-line” alternative to standard generalist offerings. Min’s approach is defined by a commitment to ‘Cultural Safety’—ensuring every patient, from Macleod to Warrandyte, feels physically and emotionally safe while reclaiming their physical autonomy.
Min’s clinical philosophy is built on a foundation of validation and empowerment. She recognises that pelvic health concerns are rarely just physical, often involving complex challenges like the “bounce back” pressure felt by perinatal professionals or the social isolation that can accompany mature-age incontinence. Effectively addressing these issues requires more than a standard intervention; it demands a high-trust partnership and a clear data-driven management plan tailored to the individual.

Frequently Asked Questions
Unlike a general musculoskeletal clinic, we focus exclusively on pelvic health for women, men, and children. This specialisation allows us to provide dedicated clinical management for complex conditions that generalist providers may overlook, such as persistent pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and post-prostatectomy recovery. Our clinical philosophy is rooted in a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, ensuring your care plan addresses both your physical symptoms and your long-term health goals.
We believe that equality in accessing healthcare is fundamental. Our clinic is a transgender-safe, neurodiverse-friendly, and LGBTQ+ inclusive environment. To ensure all patients feel supported and comfortable, we have designed our facility with wheelchair-accessible seating and entrances, gender-neutral toilets, and a dedicated nursing room.
A formal referral is not required to see us as a private patient. However, if you are managing a chronic condition and wish to access Medicare rebates via a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, a valid referral from your GP is necessary. We work collaboratively with local GPs and specialists in the Banyule, Nillumbik, and Manningham regions to ensure a coordinated and communicative approach to your care.
We understand that pelvic health concerns are deeply personal and can often be difficult to discuss. Our principal physiotherapist, Min Khoo, recognises that issues ranging from postpartum “bounce back” pressure to the social isolation of incontinence require a high-trust partnership. Every consultation is held in a private, professional room where your concerns are met with validation, empathy, and evidence-based clinical management.
Monty Pelvic Physio is committed to ensuring that high-quality clinical care remains accessible to everyone in our community. We offer generous concession discounts for individuals with a valid Victorian Health Care Card to assist in bridging the gap and ensuring financial circumstances do not prevent you from receiving the care you deserve.
